love our blog.
Question to all: do YOU believe inn all of this?
All of this has got me really worried. I mean the fact that this will all happen in 2012 is scary. I can't believe all of those predictions by the Mayans and Nasa and everything line up! It's also scary that they have the exact date: December 21, 2012. By the way, that's my grandpa's birthday. We'll all be in our sophomore year of college. If only we could know for sure, I would just stop trying in school right now. If I were you, I would spread the word.
I just hope the Cubs win the World Series before all of this happens. If the prophesy is true, they will win this year.
THIS IS A VERY SCARY TOPIC, AND I HOPE IT DOESN'T COME TRUE. Yet there is way too much evidence and fact on the internet, tv, and in books to know for sure. December 21, 2012, the supposed date of the end of the world has been predicted by the Mayans, Chinese Oracle, Merlin, and many more. It is said that every 25,800 years the Earth is at an exact allignment with the center of the Sun and the Milky way galaxy, and that a wierd tilt in the world's rotation is supposed to occur, altering the poles maybe resulting in doom. I know a lot about this topic because this was my I-Search topic, and a very interesting, yet disturbing one too.
You never really know what to believe becasue accounts such as this, not in as great of detail, have happened before, but not come true. Now we have much more evidence and proof so should we believe it? For those of you who have no idea about what I am talking about dealing with a Doomsday you should watch these videos on youtube.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZUzFYwZlXA
Live life to the fullest becaus eit might be ending soon! This sucks!!!!!
Thanks alot Nick, now I won't be able to sleep tonight...
Alright, first of all, I tend to be pretty skeptical of "doomsday" predictions. I belive it was predicted before that 1984 would be the end of the world, and yet, we are still here. Y2K was supposed to destroy the world, and yet, we are still here.
However, watching this History channel thing on YouTube (Part 1 here:http://youtube.com/watch?v=ecTE6lXI-m0&feature=related
Part 2 here:http://youtube.com/watch?v=gZUzFYwZlXA&feature=related) really got me thinking. It's somewhat eerie that so many different people in so many different parts of the world predicted the same date...I think that's a little too accurate to be a coincidence.
Of course, I wouldn't go around spreading the word...I mean, let's say we all go to bed on December 21, 2012 and wake up in the morning...then we'd feel pretty dumb about telling everyone we know that the world was going to end. I think a pretty good way to tell if this will all happen is to wait around for a couple of months. The Aztec calendar predicted that a Nuclear War would break out sometime between now and next year. If that happens, we can safely assume that the world will, in fact, end on 12/21.12
What If the Earth Explodes BEFORE this happens, what then?!?
Merlin didn't really exist, Did he?
Well Nick, according to the video thing he did.
I think it is interesting that many early civilizations have predicted the end of the world around the same time, but i dont think the world will end. People have been predicting the end of the world for centuries. Even if 2012 is going to be the last year of the world, what can we do about it? that makes you feel insignificant.
I cant Believe That!
I always thought that he was just in stories
Nick, stop posting retarded comments.
What I don't understand is how the "world" could just END. It's not like a book or anything, it wont like, spontaniously combust.... At least I hope it wont.
Read on Devin.
I wonder if there will be any survivers when this happens or if everyone just disappears.
everyone will be burning in fire and brimstone, so there will probaly be no survivors
"Alright, first of all, I tend to be pretty skeptical of "doomsday" predictions. I belive it was predicted before that 1984 would be the end of the world, and yet, we are still here. Y2K was supposed to destroy the world, and yet, we are still here."- Devin
Exactly, and how do you suppose the world is going to end?
I think that we as historians, that we are over-inturperating the Mayan calendar. What if instead of the cycle ending, the Mayans just ran out of stone to write on.
In resonse to Rob, I think the world will end because of Nuclear war. So we'll basically be destroying the world through our own ignorance.
hahahahahahahahahah you guys are soo weird... nice blog topic :]
Wow.
I think that the Mayan were def. just guessing, after all, time is an illusion, even Einstien says that!
I really need to watch the clip, but isn't the world supposed to end a little later? I always thought so.
Well, if the world does end, i really won't care.
I really hope the world doesnt end, we dont even have flying cars yet.
Actually, Nick is right. Time is relative, so the Myans could be wrong. After all, these are the ones that pretty much worshipped anyone wearing gold.
I just hope someone finds a way to contradict these guys. Of course, the Myans might have known they wouldn't last.
I really hope that the world doesn't come to an end during our lifetime...I would just like to graduate and go to college. With our luck, we'll only go to college for a year and 1/4 and then we'll all be dead:( If the world didn't end in 2K 2000, or 6/6/2006, I don't think it will occur. Even though you have reliable sources that can prove it will blow up,I think it is just a theory.
i honestly dont see why worrying about the world going to end is going to do anything about it acutally ending. worrying about it and spending days/weeks/or-however-long worrying about the world exploding or something is just going to turn us into a bunch of paranoid freaks. if the world ends tomorrow its not like we're going to sit around debating about how the mayans and everyone were wrong, cuz we'd be dead. dont get me wrong, i do believe the world will eventually end but as to when... i dont really care because i dont think it'll be anytime while we're alive. just my opinions..
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
When I first heard about this "end of the world" crap, I read it in Brandon's I-Search... like 3 days ago now, I don't know if I believe it or not. But it's all kinda creepin' me out. :-)
haha kinda cool you like started a blog.
BEN WHY WOULDN'T YOU CARE IF THE WORLD ENDED? just wondering.
Haha, along with Maggie, I read about this topic in Brandon’s I-Search. Although I had heard about it numerous times beforehand, seeing someone choose it for their research paper made it seem all the more real to me. Even though I am still undecided as to whether or not I believe in all of this, I think the events leading up to these predictions are very important. I do not understand how the Mayans could have predicted Hurricane Katrina or the September 11 attack; however, since they were right about that they could very well be correct about the world ending in 2012.
I watched a few of the You-Tube videos mentioned above, however, they did not really make the topic any more “real” to me. Sure they explain it in a lot greater detail and give many supporting facts, but can you really believe everything they say? I mean it the world ending in 2012 is definitely a possibility, but then again isn’t anything possible? There are many predictions about when the world is going to be “doomed,” and this one just so happens to be the most talked about.
I am not trying to change opinions about this topic, mostly because I myself am not exactly sure how I feel about it, but I do think it’s important to show information that supports both sides of the conflict. There are some people who are going to be freaking out about the world ending up until 2012, and maybe even after that if the world goes on, and there are ones who are going to just live life to the fullest and not care about anything that stands in their way. Although I cannot fully admit to being classified into that second group, I would much rather live my life to the fullest and accomplish what I have time to do, than worry so much about predictions I am not even sure are correct and end up living a stressful life.
p.s. hahah nick ingram you are obsessed.
To respond to Connor's comment, the world isn't going t blow up if you actually watch the YouTube clip.
I'm gunna have to disagree to Allison's comment. Of course we should be worried about the end of the world! You are right that we can't do anything about it, but don't you want to know if you're grades are gunna matter in the near future? I do. I'd rather break rules and like Molls said, "live life to the fullest." And Ben, you're crazy to say you don't care about the world coming to an end. You may talk the talk bud, but when it happens, you're gunna pea your pants. We all will.
waiting to debate with John...
I know why Ben doesn't have to worry about dying! He's a robot!
in responce to devin...
I believe it will be a result of the oil crisis.
Something like... We attack Saudi Arabia/Iran for oil. Iran has nukes, they nuke us. We nuke them. N. Korea nukes multiple countries then everyone will be gone.
Umm...why would we nuke Saudi Arabia for oil? I'm sure there is another way to obtain it. Maybe if America suddenly got aggressive in the future, and tensions arose between our two countries, but wouldn't we have another fuel source by then? I guess it depends on when you think we will have this war.
...Should I watch the YouTube thing? Is it worth wasting 20 minutes of my life? Will I be amazed?
haha..i got an icon!
Ellie, I would definitely watch the video segments...and there are two parts...both 22 minutes. You will be amazed at the prophecies and predictions made that have come true and could possibly come true. It won't be a waste of your life because if it is true, you won't have much time to waste anyway (if that made sense). Nick and I would appreciate it if people don't blog about how we're wrong in what we think until you watch the video. *This goes for anyone who is skeptical of our beliefs.*
im not saying we shouldnt be worried about the world ending eventually. we should. but i dont think the world is going to end any time soon and i dont see any point in becoming obessively worried about the world ending in 2012, thats all i meant. i understand being worried about the world ending... but i dont think we should worry to the point of becoming paranoid... but that my opinion
Allison, no one said they were obsessed with the end of the world, we just wanted to have a super cool blog. And besides, the You-Tube clip did scare me a little. So Ellie, I would highly recommend watching it. It is very interesting. I was glued to the screen once it started. If the clip wasn't good, why do you think Austin and I made a blog about it?
Nick I didn't mean obsessed with the end of the world, I meant obsessed with the cubs. Haha sorry for the confusion.
No Molly, I wasn't talking about what you said, I was talking about what Allison said. Your comment was pretty funny though. Don't worry about it.
I thought the video clips were scary too Nick, they really freaked me out.
I still think that its a load of malarky though.
Is there any other news on TV or on the Internet about this topic?
in responce to Nick Ingram...
In 4 years gas might be close to $10.00 a gallon! There is no way we will have another fuel source in 4 years! We are going to BEGIN required MPG laws in 2011! The end of the world will be one year later!
do the teachers know about this or can i say what i want?
i just have to say i agree with jack and that if the world ends that would suck
i dont want to believe in doomsday but it is kinda in the back of my mind
I agree with Rob, a new fuel source is decades away. Everyone should walk or bike more.
This blog is pumping, there is like50+ posts.
On December 21, 2012 at 11:11 UTC, or Coordinated Universal Time, The Winter Solistice will occur. Maya stelae occasionally show dates beyond 2012. Most of these are in the form of "distance dates", where a Long Count date is given with a distance date to be added. For example, on the Tablet of Inscriptions from Palenque the following Long Count date was found: 9.8.9.13.0 8 Ahau 13 Pop (24 March 603 Gregorian) with a distance date of 10.11.10.5.8. The resulting date is given as 1.0.0.0.0.8 5 Lamat 1 Mol,[11] or 21 October 4772 – almost 3,000 years into the future. The king Pacal of Palenque predicted that on this date the eightieth Calendar Round anniversary of his accession will be celebrated, suggesting he did not believe the world would end in 2012.
11:11 is my birthday!!! =]
this is a good blog. :) i hope the world doesn't end soon. i want to live.
I am officially calling this a coincidencal prophecy, all of those sources have problems behind them.
1. Chinese- the guy who put it on a time line WASNT there at the time, so they could have fliped the coin more
2.Greek Oracle- ON DRUGS
3.Mayans- They died out, and we don't know if the calendar had secret meanings.
4. If This actually happens then Santa Clause is real, Elvis is still alive and George Bush is smart...
Wags you copy pasted that !!!
5. Oh, and Merlin was nuts
No I knew all of that
i think we should all stop worrying about the end of the world. Even if the world "ends" its out of our control. It belongs in George Dubyas Hands :)
Okay...so I just watched the first segment on this. I have seen videos about the 2012 theory before, but they had never been this long or detailed. The first time I heard this I thought it was a dumb idea and that it would never happen..but now that I watched these videos I am really not sure.
The civil and sybilline prophecies (I believe those are right?) really creeped me out. I had no idea about them, especially how much correct information they have predicted.
I also had no idea about the web-bot-project. All of these little things are really starting to add up and could very well persuade me to believe in the world ending in 2012.
p.s. Sorry about my first post being so "proper." Hahah I guess I'm just used to writing all of the graded ones. Oh and also...I know you guys made this blog for people who truly believe in this..and well I can't admit that I am for sure one of those people..but I think those videos show your side of the story very nicely....so props.
Rob...presidents can't stop the world from ending. If this really happens they're going to be gone as well.
Plus Bush is only in office for like eeeehh 6 or 7 more months. Haaha.
i agree with robbie. worrying about the world ending isnt going to stop it from ending. and unless someone somewhere knows how to stop it... than i dont think there's any use worrying about it ending because we cant stop it (at least we dont know how to right now)
The way I see it we are all going to die at some point, so at least if this happens it will be a cool death....
You know Fire and brimstone and stuff...
I still think that the "prophecy" is a load of malarky.
The Mesoamerican Long Count calendar, notably used by the Maya civilization among others of pre-Columbian Mesoamerica, completes its thirteenth b'ak'tun cycle since the calendar's mythical starting point (equivalent to 3114 BC August 11 in the proleptic Gregorian calendar, according to the "GMT-correlation" JDN= 584283).[7] The Long Count b'ak'tun date of this starting point (13.0.0.0.0) is repeated, for the first time in a span of approximately 5,125 solar years. The significance of this period-ending to the pre-Columbian Maya themselves is unclear, and there is an incomplete inscription (Tortuguero Monument 6) that records this date. It is also to be found carved on the walls of the Temple of Inscriptions in Palenque, where it functions as a base date from which other dates are computed.[8] However, it is conjectured that this may represent in the Maya belief system a transition from the current Creation world into the next.
lance... if you're going to comment at least use your own words :]
wags needs to copying and pasting...
I'd like to state this again: THE GREEK ORACLES WERE HIGH!!!
I'd also like to say that we're not trying to stop the end of the world, we're just trying to decide whether it's logical to agree with the theory or not. Pointless? Maybe, but if you think about it your whole life is pointless if it's just going to end in a few years, so why argue that we're not going to stop it anyways? Your living isn't going to stop the end of the world either so maybe you should stop living as well (pwned).
Anyways, I don't believe in it, but I'm going to watch the video now.
So what if the Bible said the world is going to end? The Bible also said the world is 6,000 years old.
And the Mayan calendar didn't predict the end of the world; the caldendar simply ended....
Okay, I learned about the oracles of Delphi when my english teacher in 8th grade went over Greek literature. She told us that the oracles sat on tripods above a crack in the Earth which released natural gas. Therefore, the oracles were high when they went into this "trance". The oracles were never specific and thats why they were correct most of the time.
You could pretty much give somebody weed and they might tell you the world will end soon as well.
After this I'm done spamming... but I don't think this black hole is close enough to us to have an significant change on our Earth's position. Our universe is balanced in the sense that we have a gravitational pull with every mass that floats in space. The further away a mass is, the less significant the gravitational pull is. Therefore, I don't think the black hole is close enough to us in the first place, and how could an allignment between us, the sun, and a black hole change the poles of the Earth? This allignment has probably happened many times before and not once has science suggested that our Earth has switched poles multiple times. Not to mention that ancient civilizations did not know the laws of physics anyhow, why should you trust them with a couple of cooincidental predictions? Fortune-telling is absolute nonsense.
Also, if the world ended, our existence would be absolutely POINTLESS. I don't believe that humans are pointless; we have to be here for some reason.
ehhh.... there isn't even solid evidence that many of these people existed... and where are these people getting their facts??? the oracles predicted adolf hitler and the holocaust? I'd like to see where they got this information, not just say it like they did in the video...
not to mention how literally these people are reading the Bible, the Bible was never meant to be taken literally and the Book of Revelations more or less tells us to live every day like it could be the end, because when they thought of the end of the world they thought of Jesus' second coming (which by the way they thought would happen soon after Jesus' death)
there are always end of the world theories and they've ALWAYS been wrong... and people are just trying to make some quick cash off of this in my opinion... I'm very skeptical about a lot of the information they obtained and where it origionated
and ya, wags...... copying....
whatever, we'll probably kill each other in a nuclear war before then
If the poles have changed that could possibly be why the continents began to shift. Like the video said, Antarctica used to be along the equator.
Kevin I don't the oracles were trying to make a lot of cash when they were in thier trances making these predictions. All of the predictions have been made for the same day, December 21, 2012. Even if it seems skeptical where people got there info all the profecies had been made.
I hope Dmitri doesn't find this blog...no one tell him.
haha, are teachers look at this blog? cause I would say something funny if they weren't
I don't think they know about it.
oh by the way, just to clarify... it's not the oracles that I think were trying to make cash, its the people who are blowing this theory way out of proportion who I think are... the history channel and the authors who write about the theory just to name a few
ehhh.... this theory is making me scared, I dont really want to believe it but some of the stuff in the video almost forces you to
I still don't believe though....
In response to Kevin and the other kids who say that the oracles couldn't be right because they were high, I am confused... How would being high make them incorrect? Either way, high or not, they still made predictions that came true. It doesn't matter that they were high, because one way or another, they made accurate predictions.
I would also like to comment on something else... Although I believed the end of the world was coming, and still sort of do, the historians did say that the prophecies and predictions made were extremely vague. Their meanings could have been interpreted many different ways.
Also, commenting on the Earth lining up with the Milky Way and the sun...They didn't describe why lining up with them would change our poles or shift our mantel. If the mantel does shift, I can understand how there will be floods, volcanoes, earthquakes, and other natural disasters, but how will that happen? They didn't explain that portion...If anything, like Devin and some others said, a shift in magnetic poles would only change our compases...right?
Looking at the paper we got in bio the other day, when you look at the other eras between mass extinction, we've only been in this period for 65 million years, which is miniscule compared to the other eras. I believe that a shift in magnetic poles has occured before, but not a mass disruption of the world and extinction of humans/animals this soon after the last era. I also understand that even if this is true, worrying won't do anything...the chances of my bus getting in an accident tomorrow are higher than the chances of the world ending this soon. Even if it was going to end, we can't do anything about it.
how do you publish a blog.
1) Hahahah nice blogs Lance.
2) "You could pretty much give somebody weed and they might tell you the world will end soon as well." What? Kevin anyone could tell you that, they don't have to be on drugs haha.
3) Austin I thought the whole point of you making this blog was to convince people this theory was true.."Even if it was going to end, we can't do anything about it" kind of contradicts what you have been saying. Haha oh well.
This blog is getting so detailed and political.
Haha but 92 comments!
Nice.
I FINALLY WATCHED IT.
But uh. Yeah. It seems pretty believeable. But then again, they could have been on drugs.
This is an answer to molly's blog:
Nick Ingram and I made this blog to let people express their thoughts concerning the 2012 Doomsday Prophecy. We didn't necessarily start it to convince everyone that the world will end. Sure, after watching the video on youtube, you do feel like there were so many overwhelming facts that they have to be true, but we made this blog for people to discuss their views. I'm just expressing a different side of the story, which I think the History channel should have done, instead of freaking out the viewers. If you noticed, the title of the blog is Doomsday 2012: Coincidence of Prophecy...not We're All Going to Die in 2012... haha. Not to be rude or seem angry at what you said....Just clarifying.
Does anyone think that after we have worn out the topic of our imminent doom I should post another topic? We can debate some other things...Just a thought if you're up to it...any ideas? Don't waste space with stupid comments though.
YES!
Did dinosaurs REALLY roam the earth? a question that puzzles many, and might never be answered. -or-
how many licks does it take to get to the end of a tootsie pop? although the world may never know, someone else might.
:]
(lighter topics then "the world ending")
wow... kevin i think you win the most comments in a row contest :]
Austin, I was just confused because you said:
Nick and I would appreciate it if people don't blog about how we're wrong in what we think until you watch the video. *This goes for anyone who is skeptical of our beliefs.*
but then you also said that you thought the chances of doomsday ever happening were slim. (At least that's what I assumed you meant, I could be wrong.)
Haha it's not a big deal though. I just thought you were were like 100% for doomsday happening. Now that I see you just think it's a possibility and are more so interested in spreading the word about the videos, I understand what you mean.
At least I think I do haha.
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH MOLLY.
I think It would be really funny if the day the world is supposed to end it doesn't but then you are like really happy, but then you get stung by a bee and die. That would be funny, i think!
rob,
molly is right.
you are wrong.
get over it.
"lollllll"
Definitely agree with you MOll! LOL
Like politics has anything to do with the end of the world
robbie jake billy and charlie:
stop going on my name.
posers.
ehhh this topic is kinda spammed... *glares at molly*
lol molly, you're just adding fuel to the fire by having your screename be mBACON....
mmmmmm.... bacon.....
I've believed in everything the Mayans, Aztecs, Incans (etc etc whatever) have said since Mr. Oros's class in 5th grade. They are never wrong. AND the Chinese prophecies? The Bible? Ancient Rome? How can so many things say the exact same thing.
I think this is really cool.
I just heard the part about the anthrax and the hurricanes and that, I totally believe in all of this.
And Ps,
I'm not worried at all.
If everyone is going to die, everyone is going to die. It's not like only SOME people will? And it's not going to be painful? haha. Live life while you can =)
And um, Austin!!....you know that means we need to get married like..NOW.
The Mayans only existed until somewhere around the year 900. That means they did over 1000 years of calendars, maybe the just got tired.
The world is also way over due for a mass exstinction.
P.S. Nick W. your comments are retarded
@Emmy: You said it might not be painful.
The Mayans are known for their sacrifices in which they would paint the victim blue, bring them to the top of a temple, and use a knife to cut open their chest. They would then proceded to rip out the person's heart, and then for desert, a nice decapitation. Then they threw the body off the temple.
I'm sure it won't be painful :) lol
SMD Andrew, but I do agree that the Mayans just got tired.
What if some astronaut guy was in space when the end of the world happened, and when he came back everything was gone... that would suck
well kevin if the world explodes than that astronaut will have no where to go home to and... die by either starvation or lack of oxygen or get hit by a gargantuan piece of earth hurtling into space
You know what would be wierd. They should send like certain people, that have like the best traits(maybe smart and healthy people), up into space, and then they can come down after doomsday. That way civilization can contiune. It would kinda be like huge selective breeding, but that way civilzation can exist! It would even get rid of a couple diseases! Maybe even be like noah's ark and take a few animals. i'm just kidding.
look at my picture!
you'll love it!
Man, I have some catching up to do....
1. Georgia, that is actually a good idea...haha.
2. Like some have said, and I agree, that the video/History Channel did not provide enough evidence to their theories, such as those of the Earths poles shifting.
3. Speaking of poles, I believe they said the GEOLOGICAL poles would shift, not the magnetic poles. I don't think a magnetic pole shift would have much affect on us, other than our compasses being messed up. A geological shift, however, would, like the video said, cause a great shift in the Earth's crust over the mantle, thus causing great destruction on land (and of course, to the human race). The Earth itself is not coming to an end soon, it is just predicted that humans will no longer exist, due to the great floods and earthquakes and so on.
4. Molly, I know Austin already said this, but our blog was not designed only for people who believe in this stuff. We created it to hear opposing viewpoints on the issue. Furthermore, Austin and I did believe in the theories strongly at first, but over time, and thanks to everyone's blogging, we are skeptical about the issue. (I think it's safe to say that Austin and I still believe in the prophecies a little.)
5. As for Lance....dude...you and I (and everyone else) know that you are copying and pasting those statement onto our blog. Though I think it is hilarious, and hearing others' responses to yours is hilarious, it is unnecessary, and Austin and I would appreciate if you provided your own response to the subject at hand. If you happen to find an interesting source related to the topic at hand, please share, but if not, don't copy things that have no significance. Thank you.
Like Austin said, we are contemplating posting a new question/topic to our blog. I will consult with Austin for approval of a new question/topic, but until then, feel free to give suggestions.
Oh yeah! Welcome to the blog Andrew!
@Nick Ingram: "I don't think a magnetic pole shift would have much affect on us, other than our compasses being messed up."
Magnetosphere = not so good anymore o.O
and thanks for the welcome ^_^
Okay I feel really mean,
and actually really dumb asking this,
but who is Andrew B?
Oh and Nick...and Austin..
Yes I think it would be a good idea to have another blog. I don't really have many suggestions, that's kind of up to you, but I think it could be fun.
P.S. This is really random...but I just thought of that one time you said ladies after everything. Hahaahah.
OH MY GOD IS THAT ANDREW BELL?
or am I totally wrong.
@Molly: "OH MY GOD IS THAT ANDREW BELL?"
=)
yep good call
Aaahh no way! Austin is going to flip because this is not dealing with the topic haha...
but I miss you! Come baaaack!
i like Georgia's idea! i totally call going in space while it happens. Wouldn't it be cool to like watch the earth blow up too. hahah in a way. sad though, cuz i just redid my bedroom :[ and it would blow up into smithereens. . .
but what about that one guy from the 1700's. He predicted that Bush was going to be president, and then that the earth was going to blow up like a couple years ago. He was wrong.
when we are all in college. and the "doomsday" comes. OHH MY GOSHH. wow. i wonder.
ahha andrew... maybe they did just get tired. i hope :]
Why does everyone think the Earth is going to blow up?
why is your picture of jay-z?
he is the best rapper alive molly, duh.
@Andrew: I like your blogging style. I'm gunna use it for now.
@Nick B: "Why does everyone think the Earth is going to blow up?"
I agree. Why does that keep coming up.
@Maggie: Did you watch the YouTube video?
@Molly: Yeah, I forgot about that time. That was funny.
major selective breeding!
You know, what I think is funny, is that while we are talking about this, it could actually be happening. What I mean is..... Guys, this is going to be the end..... We will live (or DIE) through this.... Weird that this is all dawning on me now huh?
Oh and.... Molly, mmmmmmm bacon.... Sorry, just though I'd add that.... Very funny guys XD
I don't think that I would want to be in space during all of this though. If you want to see my reasons why, WATCH THE MOVIE TITAN A.E it totally outlines this thing.
no sir i did not.
hahah Nick I don't care, I think it is funny.
How many people use this blog anyway?
like i said earlier, time is relative. For all we know, they could have thought years were like thousands of our years long. That would mean 2012 for them could be like 3025 for us. That's as much as we really know. Why do we need to believe a people that are extinct anyway?
This is my blog too!!!
i really need to watch the movie though. It would probably help my arguments if i had proof to back it up.
You Want to Know what I think? I think that History Channel should post a vid. about how WRONG this could be, you know debunk the myth
wait what vidoes on youtube should watch?
The ones that brandon has the links to
The videos that were the reason this blog was started.
Is this blog.... DEAD?
Woah, it's Andrew Bell
@Nick: You said what if the world has already started ending
That could be o.O
That cyclone thing just hit in Myanmar (or Bruma or w/e it is called xD) I haven't heard of a cyclone in the news since like... ever, I don't think.
Also, I read somewhere that experts predict there won't be enough crude oil in the year 2030 to meet China's oil consumption needs alone.
@Ben: You said time is relative. I think they already calibrated all the calendars to present time. Also, most of them based there calenders on natural phenominons such as the winter solstice, which also happens so many days after the summer solstice, and thinks like that.
Andrew is right about the calanders being set to the same time. Also, we aren't the only people who know about the end of the world in 2012. I was just reading my game informer (a subscription came with my xbox), and one of the editors had the nickname "Reinocalypse 2012". Obvious reference to the end of the world.
